Vinci 504

About Us

New Orleans based Vinci 504 is a philanthropic 501c3 organization that funds and operates programs in the education, music, arts and food segments.  Its operations and programs are originally and principally funded by Valmiki 504, a Louisiana venture capital fund and Valmiki Capital Management, a New York based investment management company.

We aim to principally fund and operate technologically-driven, 21st century programs in the world of philanthropic programming, via the deployment of cutting-edge products & technologies. These technological developments which originate from Valmiki’s partner incubators and startup portfolio companies introduce next-generation innovation & high-tech expertise to the social impact initiatives Vinci 504 strives to address.

Operationally, Vinci 504 brings the startup “lean operating model” philosophy to its endeavors. Operating and administrative costs are funded by the board and founding funder, enabling other donor funds to be strictly allocated and distributed to its philanthropic program activities.  Furthermore, the extensive deployment of technology provides enhanced measurability and accountability within the programs, dovetailing with an operating philosophy that delivers clear and measurable ROI for donor funds.

Vinci 504 is located in one of the suites at the Louisiana Endowment of the Humanities in historic Turners’ Hall, built in 1868 as a source of civic pride for New Orleans’ German immigrants.
